CSM Director of Imaging Dr. Heiko Duessmann gives a a talk at the MIAP workshop in the Live Imaging Cell (LIC) facility at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg

17th October

The Life Imaging Center (LIC) is a central core facility of the undefinedAlbert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg open to members of all Faculties. Currently 250 active users from 6 Faculties (Biology; Medicine; Chemistry and Pharmacy; Mathematics and Physics; Environment and Natural Resources; and Engineering) are using the infrastructure of the LIC. The Open Application Development (OAD) interface allows for
automation of workflows and smart linkage of image acquisition and analysis,
which are crucial features for many experiments (e.g. tracking migrating or
growing cells, changing imaging parameters as cell morphology changes). This
advanced 3-day workshop gave an overview of various OAD posabilities.
The workshop includes lectures, discussions and hands-on sessions at the LIC
microscopes. Basic knowledge in light microscopy and scripting required

Dr Heiko Duessmann gave a talk at the Microscopy and Image Analysis Platform (MIAP) workshop, in the Live cell imaging facility in Center for Biological Systems Analysis (ZBSA), Freiburg, Germany. The workshop was organised by Roland Nitschke(Head of LIC Facility, University of Freiburg).
